MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - IRELAND
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client provides mechanical and electrical consultancy services to
the residential, commercial, micro-electronic, healthcare, municipal,
educational, sports & leisure, high tech and pharmaceutical sectors.
This role can be based in Cork, Dublin or Limerick.
Candidates will have a min of 3 years of hands on design experience
with strong client facing skills and have worked on Industrial, High
Tech, Datacentres, Healthcare projects.
Lead the Mechanical Services design for a range of projects from
concept stage to completion
Liaise with clients, architects and project managers
Design and specification of mechanical services for various types of
buildings and sectors
Production of detailed Schematics
Develop the mechanical design standards within the organisation
Mentoring of junior engineering staff
Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor
installation/quality on site until project completion
Tender report / analysis / recommendations
Develop project scope with design team / client
Produce budgets and reports for clients
The role will be primarily office based but will involve some site
attendances
Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input from
management team
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Mechanical engineering. Chartered as advantage but not
essential
Min 3 years in a Mechanical Building Services Design role
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Autocad, REVIT an advantage
Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.
Experience in leading a team
Very good proactive communicator.
